Prior to beginning: note that if you just add a legitimate credit card to an Apple ID, the "Verification Required" message won't appear at all, and you're able to prevent verification for updates and installs if you disable "Require Password" for free downloads to your iPhone or even iPad App Store configurations.

In case you don't want to include or verify a credit card with the Apple ID, or in the event, the payment method expired, or else you do not want to use one at all, then you must change a setting on your Apple ID to discontinue the "Verification Required" message. Here's how to do this:. This should completely resolve that the "Verification Required" message if performing App Store actions in iOS while updating programs, downloading new program installing or installing any programs, onto an iPhone or even iPad.

If you are using the App Store with no credit card then you would want to choose the "None" option, that allows downloading and updating free programs without needing any kind of verification of payment or even a payment system whatsoever.
